stoptime DIVAS | Playhouse on Park | West Hartford, CT
I will be joining Playhouse on Park's resident dance company, under the direction of Darlene Zoller, for the second time, serving as vocal coach for their production of DIVAS. This show is a treat for anyone who loves dance, and as an added treat each performance will feature a "diva moment" from a local artist!

Matilda | Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts | Hartford, CT
The Academy of the Arts will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am thrilled to be returning there this spring to work on this show, which is just a ton of fun for the audience and performers. I am looking forward to tackling the challenges of the score by Tim Minchin (and the British dialects!) with the students.

The Amazing Adventures of Dr. Wonderful (And Her Dog) | Playhouse on Park | West Hartford, CT
I always love sitting in the audiences of Playhouse's Theater for Young Audience shows. There is nothing more joyful than watching the unfiltered reactions of the littlest theatergoers, and nothing more impressive than the actors thinking on their feet when audience members get a little too excited!

Newsies | Young People's Center for Creative Arts | East Hampton, CT
I will be returning to YPCCA's summer program for my sixth year as music director. Putting on a full-length musical in four weeks with students ages 12-18 can be stressful and overwhelming, but I'm so glad that we also take time to play games and run workshops that give all the students opportunities for creative expression and growth. Many times, it is during the workshops where younger students experience the most growth, and the confidence they build over the four weeks helps prepare them to take on a lead role in later years.

It Shoulda Been You | Playhouse on Park | West Hartford, CT
The problem with telling people about this show is that you can barely say anything about it without giving away the hilarious plot twist. You'll just have to come see it for yourself! This show combines classic musical comedy hijinks, real contemporary issues of identity and body image, and the kind of family issues that everyone can relate to. RSVP to the Steinberg-Howard wedding and see if the happy couple can make it to the altar despite their parents.
